My entire career, spanning the last 27 years, has been focused on the regional agricultural industry with many of those years spent in farm and food production management and operations. Since 2006, I have been specializing in the representation of clients involved in large agribusiness transfers totaling tens of millions of dollars. With my extensive agribusiness background and hands-on agricultural experience, I am able to understand and appreciate the unique needs of agricultural business and real estate owners throughout the process of divestment or acquisition much better than a generalist real estate broker. I am obsessed with placing my client’s needs above my own and always taking the ethical and moral high ground in all dealings.
I also consider one of my most important attributes, which can be directly related to years of involvement in the agricultural community, to be a highly ingrained work ethic and belief that hard work and attention to detail will always assist me in exceeding my client’s expectations. My formal education consists of an Associate of Arts degree and extensive, additional undergraduate work in agricultural business and science with ongoing education in commercial real estate business operations, valuation and marketing.

I graduated from Augustana College, located in my hometown of Rock Island, Ill, with a B.S. in business administration. Shortly after moving to the Napa Valley in the early 1990’s, I launched my vineyard and winery oriented real estate career and am the founder and president of Wine Country Consultants based in the Napa Valley, CA. I have been assisting the wine industry and investors in acquiring strategic properties for more than 20 years.
My expertise lies in my consensus-building team approach to work with investors on both sides of an acquisition. By employing my intimate knowledge of viticultural areas throughout the United States and abroad and applying my in-depth understanding of the wine industry, I am able to identify key, often overlooked investment opportunities and unlock hidden value. I believe in building a team of industry experts to advise my clients throughout the decision-making process of a transaction which ultimately leads to a well-informed and transparent exchange. Given the increased interest of wine industry investors in the crossover between California, Oregon and Washington viticultural regions, I believe I offer an unparalleled value to my clients by being a licensed broker in all three of these West Coast states. In addition, I am qualified and available to assist on a consulting basis in all 50 states as well as internationally. My long-term industry contacts enable me to play an invaluable role in assisting investors throughout the world.
Twenty years into assisting buyers and sellers of viticulture properties, I have never been more passionate about my career nor more ambitious about my future. Founding Wine Country Consultants in California and becoming affiliated with AgriBusiness Trading Group in Oregon and Washington grew out of my desire to fill the niche of providing world class customer service to buyers and sellers of viticulture properties throughout the West Coast region as well as consulting services worldwide.
Marketing & Administration
Born and raised in the beautiful Walla Walla Valley, agriculture has always been a part of my life. My ancestors came to Walla Walla from Italy and grew some of the first Walla Walla Sweet Onions. Then they became long time Walla Walla wheat farmers, and are still farming today. After graduating from WSU with a Bachelor’s degree I knew that I would return to my roots.
My education has taken me in many directions, but has always brought me back to marketing and business development. From helping a non-profit reach sustainability to owning my own Interior Design business I have learned that hard work, dedication and ‘thinking outside of the box’ are keys to any successful business. The last few years I have been able to harness the power of social media marketing to help increase business productivity. My business minor focused on the importance of niche marketing and is a valuable tool in today’s marketing education. My diverse experience has allowed me to create a platform of success for our clients and has helped keep us on top of the competition.
