SOLD! TWIN FALLS COUNTY, IDAHO IRRIGATED FARM

Agribusiness Trading Group, in partnership with Peoples Company, is proud to announce the recent transaction of a Twin Falls County, Idaho irrigated farm totaling 1,609.22 +/- deeded acres. The Salmon Falls property was offered to the public via sealed bid auction in November 2022 alongside two additional Pacific Northwest irrigated farms, which are currently under contract.

The Salmon Falls Farm is situated in the beautiful and highly productive Magic Valley near Buhl, Idaho. The property includes 1,388.09 +/- tillable acres per the Minidoka County Farm Service Agency. Water rights are primarily served via surface water from Salmon Falls Creek, a tributary of the Snake River. With ample water and productive soils, the farm has produced a variety of crops including sugar beets, potatoes, corn, and barley.

The Magic Valley, a region that encompasses six counties in south-central Idaho, is known as the ‘food basket’ of Idaho due to its symbiotic relationship between farmers, cattle and dairy producers, and processors. The region got its name as the construction of dams and irrigation canals in the 1910s ‘magically’ transformed what many considered to be a nearly uninhabitable area into some of the most productive farm ground in the Pacific Northwest.
